Ground Mounted Setup

Ground Mounting structure:

In this setup the mounting structure, on which PV modules are fixed, are anchored by anchor fastener to leak proof ballast foundation / pedestal which are chemically bonded with your terrace floor.

All our mounting structures are pressure cleaned, chemically anodized and then Hot dipped galvanized. With this HDG treatment, your mounting structure gets a guaranteed life of atleast 20 Years in all weather condition. Ground Mounted structure patterns are custom prepared as per your terrace layout such that maximum utilization can be done taking into consideration sufficient space required for maintenance of water pipes, valves, panel cleaning etc.

Ballast Foundation / Pedestal:

Ballast foundation or more commonly known as pedestal are blocks made of calculated ratio consisting of 3 main ingredients viz. construction stone aggregate (commonly known as khadi), sand (commonly known as rethi) and cement. Once their location is marked, that particular section is grinded, scrubbed and pressure washed. Next is placement of the mould, laying of the chemical and pouring of the cement, sand and construction stone aggregate in their ratio. The mould is then dismantled after about 6 to 8 hours. These blocks are then bathed with water for a minimum of 6 times a day for the next 10 to 12 days. This process alone helps the blocks to get a long life.
